Vrana Lake Nature Park

Vrana Lake Nature Park is located in the near vicinity of Pakoštane and it is the largest freshwater lake in Croatia.The Park is also an ornithology rezervate, and apart from the various fish species, there are numerous birds that nest here and can bee watched from many watching spots along the lake that can be reached on foot or by bike. There are several historical locations in the Park that make it even more interesting for visiting.

Kornati National Park

Yachtsmen love this Park, as well as other tourist, and it comprises Kornati archipelago that consists of around hundred of islands, islets and rocks which make it look like a wonderful stone string immersed in the blue sea and thus is a great destination for boat trips. Kornati National Park is especially interesting to divers due to the sea bottom's rich sea life that makes each dive an unforgettable experience.

Krka National Park

River Krka, whose entire flow is included in this National Park, goes through the Šibenik hinterland and makes its way to the sea through the karst landscape. With its many waterfalls, lush greenery, various animal species and numerous historical and cultural locations, it is a magical place to visit. The most famous and the biggest waterfall is Skradinski buk, and besides the falls, one must definitely visit the islet and Franciscan monastery of Visovac, the remains of Burnum (a Roman military camp) and Krka monastery.

Located at the southern part of Velebit, Paklenica National Park consists of Mala and Velika Paklenica canyons and it is an ideal destination for all hiking lovers, as well as for those who enjoy walking through the breathtaking mountain landscape. Paklenica is also known as a great destination for free climbing as there are several climbing routes. Famous Anića Kuk is the best known and the most popular rock for climbing.

Plitvice Lakes National Park

Plitvice Lakes are a string of 16 lakes located in Lika, Croatian mountain region, amidst beautiful rich woods and mountain slopes. Blue and green in colour, the lakes are lined in cascade and interconnected through water that flows from one lake to another, with many waterfalls and creeks. Veliki slap is the biggest waterfall and its height is 78 m, and there are many walking routes that enable you to discover every corner of these magnificent lakes. This area is also known for the various orchid species that grow there, and one can find 55 different types.
